Looks like it is built on an old racecar chassis.

I would LOVE to build something like this!

I wonder how old it is...

It’s like the Nascarlo.

The body is definitely late 30's early 40's pre-war. The rest is anybody’s guess.

He’s on a couple of the Street Legal Racecar FB pages. It’s on a Howe based home built mod chassis w/elimiated offset.

Sort of lol. Recognized it off one of the Street Lega l FB groups I’m on. There’s a small but growing number of street legal racecars out there these days . Spent a few years looking to do up street legal asphalt modified or a BGN road course car (w/a ‘70s-80s body) but l ast year TX screwed with the kit car rules, so I shelved the idea. This year they passed HB1755 to clarify the 2018 rule, so everything is back to how it was pretty much. Might look at it again now that they’ve fixed it (?).

Oh yeah no doubt. Many times cooler.

I have a hard time with this vintage. So many p
arts are shared. It's really hard to tell the make or pin point the year

What about a 2JZ with a Paxton and a custom “I’m a pontiac I swear” OHV-six style valve cover?

Looks OK to me.

People moan and groan about modern cars looking identical, they have nothing on 20s-40s material.

i feel like you could probably take fenders or the whole front ends of most of cars in that era and bolt pieces to a similar car from a different maker pretty easily.
